Cost-Saving Tools for Automobile Dealers

Auto Data Direct, Inc. (ADD) offers a number of useful and low-cost tools to automobile dealers.

ADD's Multi-State Vehicle Search tool can help a dealer assess the value of a trade-in vehicle. This search tool uses the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) to create a report that may include salvage and total loss data, brands such as "flood," previous odometer readings, and current and previous state/s of title.

ADD offers even more inquiry tools for automobile dealers in Florida and Texas. Texas companies can retrieve state-specific vehicle data by VIN. Florida companies can search for vehicle information by tag, title, or VIN, or search a list of Specially Designated Nationals. Florida companies can also verify driver license records, check for “stops” on a vehicle, or research owner and lien holder information.

ADDTag - Florida Temporary Tags

ADDTag, Inc. partners with the Florida DHSMV to provide a web-portal for Florida automobile dealers to report the issuance of temporary tag and license plate data directly into the Florida Real-Time Vehicle Information System (FRVIS) database. The easy-to-use program can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.

Florida Title and Registration Fee Calculation Tool

You asked for it, you got it! With the new fees going into effect on September 1, 2009, ADDTag has developed a valuable, time-saving Fee Calculation tool to assist Florida automobile dealers in estimating the new title and registration fees. Plus, by more accurately estimating the customer’s fees, this useful tool will help reduce the number of refund checks a dealer has to mail.

From September 1 through December 31, 2009, ADDTag is offering a special introductory rate of $1.00 per fee calculation. Rates will increase to $2.00 on January 1, 2010.

While the fee calculation product represents ADDTag’s best effort to estimate a fee, timing fluctuations, regulatory changes or inaccuracies in data provided by manufacturers and dealers may result in an inaccurate estimate.
