FL Dealers: Stock Up on Pre-Printed Tags for DHSMV September Outages

for Auto Dealers on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 by Auto Data Direct

In September, the Florida DHSMV Data Center is scheduled to be transferred as part of the state’s Data Center Consolidation Plan. This move is complex and will require a complete shut‐down of all DHSMV systems. Read the DHSMV Notice.

There are two scheduled outages in September that ADD users should be aware of:

**Friday September 7th through Sunday September 10th. ** Affected systems will include:

  • Temporary Tags and Metal Plate Transfers (ADDTag)
  • Motor Vehicle and Driver License Records (DMV123)

Saturday September 22nd through Sunday September 23rd. Affected systems will include:

  • Temporary Tags and Metal Plate Transfers (ADDTag)

Due to the large scale shut-down, there is also the risk of potential issues which could keep the system down longer than anticipated, or cause intermittent outages through September 30th.

Dealers should contact their tax collector or tag office to obtain a sufficient supply of pre-printed temporary tags for use during these outages.

Auto Data Direct will provide updates regarding outages throughout this period. Please contact ADD if you have any questions at 855-300-3455 or info@add123.com.
