Auto Data Direct, Inc. (ADD) is excited to announce the addition of California motor vehicle records to its DMV123 system. With access to 28 state databases, ADD offers a single platform to more real-time records than any other company of its kind.

ADD’s web-based system is available to qualified companies who need access to accurate, real-time motor vehicle records to complete business transactions. Whether for an insurer processing a claim, a financial institution verifying ownership, or a tow operator in need of registrant and lienholder information to file a notice of claim of lien, the system improves efficiency and accuracy in completing crucial business processes. DMV123 records are made available through a secure internet connection, based on a company’s qualifications under the Federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA).

“Since 1999, our core business has been to provide real-time motor vehicle inquiry solutions to DPPA qualified companies,” said Jim Taylor, President. “Our customers value a single point of access for records. With our DMV123 program, they can easily retrieve a single record online without going to multiple sources. The addition of California to ADD’s selection of available states will be tremendously beneficial to those businesses looking for accuracy and efficiency in their business transactions.”

Real-time motor vehicle records include owner, lienholder, registration and vehicle data such as make, model, year, tag and title number. In addition to individual real-time state data, ADD is an approved provider of National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) vehicle history records.

In addition to California records, ADD offers access to Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.

In order to access California records though ADD, qualified businesses must have a Requestor Code issued by the California DMV. To find out if your business qualifies for record access, or for more information on how to apply for a California requestor code, call ADD at 855-300-3455 .
